  • it’s unable to connect to wordpress.com

    what do you mean by this?

    I can also not connect ANY of my 21 websites with Jetpack to wordpress.com. This is really awful as it kills a lot of functionality for me and my customers! What had been going on?

    @aliceverhejj

    Take a look at the jetpack FAQ and see if that helps

    I did. And it didn’t help a thing. Unfortunately.

    What do you mean by you can’t connect? Can you send a screenshot of the error if possible?

    To me, this looks like a problem at jetpack’s end. How many times have you tried connecting

    Numerous times. And re-installs, switching off plugins, changing themes and all that kind of stuff. Doesn’t work. It somehow is the case on all 21 websites I manage. Definitely an incompatibiltity problem between JetPack and WordPress. But I have no idea where to look for a solution.

    same problem

    It is really awful as I am losing faith with customers. Can I somehow get an old Jetpack version? This is losing so much functionality on my websites!!!

    From what was said here from Jerremy it looks like this is a known issue to JetPack and is being looked into. To download an old version (although this is not reccomended)go here then scroll down until you see ‘Other versions’ and select the other version to download. I do not see how this will help but there you go.

    I’ll just give the old plugin a spin and will let you know what happens.
    Thanks for the info (and the effort!)

    Didn’t work either. Guess I’ll just have to wait.

    i installed jetpack and i don’t even get the message to connect to wordpress.com. i’ve un-installed and re-installed- deactivated all other plugins and nothing seems to work!
