Not able to Comment

    Hello,

    I am having trouble with being able to add comments to my blog. The link directs to a “/#respond” which I assume is an incorrect link target ? that was automatically set up.

    Here’s what I have done:
    Gone into admin and double checked comment permissions
    Deactivated my plugins
    Gone into index.php, style.php and comments.php to try to find this #respond target
    Reverted to the default theme

    I am using 2.3.1…would upgrading solve this?

    Any help is appreciated.

  • youre getting a 404, the same as you are getting a 404 when you try to go to actual permalink.

    is a 404.

    and thats not the default theme.

    Update your permalinks options inside wp-admin, and activate the default theme. See what doing those 2 things does.

    (Sorry about the default theme; I _did_ change it but then changed it back.)

    As for your advice: I did both of those items, and it worked!
