    Hi there,

I wish to change the background color of the PayPal button on my site.

I am using Woocommerce PayPal Payments plugin but there are only few inbuilt colors mentioned in the settings of the plugin.

Is it possible to change it to some custom color as it needs to be matched with our site’s button color palette?

Looking forward to your reply, thank you very much!

    Regards,

    Prasada

    Hi @prasadaeightnine

Do you want to change the color of the button, or the color of the background?

PayPal provides a few different color options for the buttons (Gold, Blue, Silver, White, Black) and it is not possible to set a different button color as these buttons are an iframe provided by PayPal. PayPal is not interested in custom colors for the smart buttons because buyers should have a uniform payment experience across different platforms. If you were to make the buttons e.g. green, this would go against PayPal’s branding intentions, so it is not possible with the latest PayPal integrations.

However, you can change the background color of the div the buttons are rendered in using CSS. But I assume that’s probably not what you’re after.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
