• I hope I can explain.

    1. mydomain.com DNS is currently masked to a 3rd party provider. I have however installed WP in my virtual GoDaddy server to switch over but I can’t do this until WP is ready, theme, etc. So I must leave the masking up and then when ready pull the plug.

    My problem:

WP however is installed and admin is “mydomain.com/wp-admin”
BUT because of the DNS masking I keep getting “bumped” and can’t get in. How do I edit the default URL temporarily so I can get it to settings and there temporarily change the Blog’s URL? to “MyGoDaddyMainDomain.com/mydomain/wp-admin” just while I build? Then later I assume I can put it back to mydomain.com/root

** How can I do this? or I may be going about this the wrong way, so if I was able to explain… is there a better way?

    thank you in advance
