Just moved the site to a new server. I didn’t change URL, same host and same domain. Everything works, except for NextGen.
Problem: two of the album pages don’t work (https://www.bluesreviews.it/gallerie/ and https://www.bluesreviews.it/gallerie/sunflower-river-blues-gospel-festival-clarksdale/), while other albums and galleries are OK. The error is “Not a valid template”. Those two albums have the same settings as those that work. I don’t use custom templates.
But, what’s worse is that it’s not possible insert galleries via the Add Gallery button in the editor, either in an old page or a new one. By clicking on it, my 404 page opens instead of NextGen options (https://funkyimg.com/i/2yYMN.jpg).

    I tried to:

    – disable all plugins and activate WP default theme
    – disable only W3 Total Cache, empty the W3TC cache multiple times
    – deactivate / reactivate the W3TC Minify
    – use the NextGen reset tool
    – delete the NextGen image cache
    – reload NextGen files from a new current package
    – deactivate / reactivate NextGen Plus
    – update the permalink several times

@tizz – Please send us a Bug Report (https://imagely.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can get a better look under the page at your site.

Please include as many details as you can about your site and the issue at hand so we can move on this as fast as possible.

    Thanks!

Hi Cais, as for the two album pages missing visualization (the “not a valid template” issue), for now I solved by replacing the non-working code (ie the usual code previously obtained with the green button) with an old type shortcode created manually, more simple and with a direct call to the album ID:

    [ngg_images album_ids=”2″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_compact_album” gallery_display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails” thumbnail_width=”217″ thumbnail_height=”144″ override_thumbnail_settings=”1″ thumbnail_crop=”1″]

So I’m going to open a bug report just for the “Attach NextGen Gallery to Post” button not opening the plugin options but a “page not found”, as if it was an URL problem (but I did not change the URLs).

    Thanks

Sorry, I answer here because I can’t login from the Imagely report bug. I’ve asked for new passwords several times but every time I can’t get in. I’ve tried both here and here but no way. So I logged in with the gmail account but there is the notice “You do not have any tickets in current view”, probably because it’s another account.
Anyway, I wanted to say that somehow I’ve solved, it was the .htaccess. I had to remove some codes and redirects and now the ATP button seems to work, even if I find it strange because on the other server I’ve never had such problems with the same .htaccess.
    Thanks for the attention.

@tizz – Thanks for the updates, I’ll have a look at your “helpdesk” account later as well.
