• Hi There!
I have installed the lastes NEXTGEN free 2.0.61 gallery plugin.
I had a problem with the album.
so i deleted the plugin, deleted the album, kept the gallery.
re-installed the plugin, recreated the album, link the gallery, BUT when I view the page, it still says No valid template??????
This is on the domain server.
It worked on my laptop with wampserver.

    Help please.

    Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have deactivated the only to active plugins besides NEXTGEN.
I have deleted the plugin NEXTGEN, I have installed both versions to the DOMAIN Server. But without success.

    I have cleared firefox’s history
Still somewhere it references localhost, while I actually runs of the DOMAIN Server.

@dippies – Have you tried resetting the plugin under Gallery > Other Options … and then afterward clearing the image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous?

See if that helps with these issues.

    Thanks!

@cais – I have deleted the galleries, Albums, The plugin.
I have cleared the Browser history, cache, cookies.
I re-installed the plugin, reloaded 5 images and created one album.
Created a page Gallery – linked it to the album, I used the NextGEN Basic Compact Album option.
After publishing or updating the page, viewing the page I get a [Not a Valid Template]

I developed the site on my laptop using wampserver and it worked?

    Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@dippies – I see NextGEN Gallery is no longer installed on your site, sorry it didn’t work out for you.

    – Cais.

    Hi Cais,
I am having the same issue. Interestingly, Nexgen worked for me for a while. Then, not sure why, the thumbnails don’t work for me. I’ve tried uninstalling and then reinstalling and nothing works. The slideshow on another page works, but not the thumbnail gallery on another page. I am using [ngg_images gallery_ids=”1″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails”] and it comes back as not a valid template. So I went ahead and got the optimizer, still same result.
I would love to donate the $25 in addition to the optimizer, providing I can make this plugin work reliably on my page.

    Thanks,
    Zoltan

    @ Cais,
Yip, the support provided did not solve the problem, Hence I had to seek alternative solutions. Sorry.

@zoltangode – It would probably be best for you to start your own topic … also to note, we are not the author of any “optimizer” plugin so if there are issues related to that plugin then you may need to address those with that author.

@dippies – Thanks for your response and candor. It is still appreciated you let us know what happened.

    – Cais.

@cais Thanks for your input. I was confused between nextgen and the optimizer, not paying attention that they are from two different developers. Nevertheless, the problem seems to have been solved. I will forward a donation for your software, it is a great program.
    Thanks
