[Not a valid template]

    I installed the NextGen Gallery plugin on my website and have several galleries containing pictures. All previous created galleries are shown correctly, however the last one gives an error [Not a valid template].

    When I read this forum I can see this problem occuring when the site has been moved to another server, however… my website hasn’t! I used the same settings as the previous galleries on the same page, but the error keeps occuring.

    Resetting the plugin didn’t help, neither did the extra plugin for reset.

    Hi @menno80

    I would edit the gallery’s shortcode, go to “Customize Display Settings” and make sure that the legacy template loads from the correct place and select the right one if needed then hit the “Insert Gallery” button and update the page.

    I’ve found the problem in the meantime. I changed the “Select View” to default-view.php and it worked. The old settings for older galleries don’t work anymore (although, all older galleries are still shown correctly).
