Not a valid facebook page url

I see what the issue is. You are attempting to create a feed for a “personal” page. You must use a Facebook Page.

Scroll to the bottom of this page: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin

And look for “Supported Pages Checklist” – be sure your page meets those criteria.

I recommend creating a page that people can “like” and using that URL in the plugin. ??

Ok, thank you! this makes sense now.

I just installed SFPW, and this Facebook page is owned by someone, so it shouldn’t be a personal page:

https://www.facebook.com/notifications?id=258455977608927

The web site in which the FB feed is supposed to appear is: https://briarcliffwoods.org/

I’m making some progress, in that this URL works:

https://www.facebook.com/BriarcliffWoods

However, I can’t control the number of FB posts that appear.

I’m still getting this error using the following code:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/OldAntarcticExplorers/

Why won’t this work???

Is there ANY way to put a link to a Facebook group on my WordPress site? There must be some widget that does that?

Based on Facebook’s documentation, there is currently no way to display a Facebook group as a widget.

Think about this, if I visit your site and I’m not a member of the group, then how will Facebook know whether or not to display information to me? There are a lot of intricacies for verifying user authentication especially when dealing with someone else’s site (yours.)
