• I tried and tried to make this plugin work but it simply doesn’t work adequately for me. The first show stopper is that you can’t keep a popup open and then open another one on top of the first.

The second and major show stopper is memory allocation errors with ThriveThemes, my editor. Support tried to blame this on my server (without even knowing my server configuration).

I got great support and it was fast but the code just doesn’t work for my needs. Big waste of $15.

  • Dear @itstotallymygame,

We’re really sorry for your disappointment, as the problem really is not with our plugin.
The amount of your popups is too large for your site memory size, this is why you’re having problems with it.
In our ticketing thread, you have mentioned that you were getting the following error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 17228927 bytes) in /home/drfarr/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 286

This shows that the allowed memory size is 134217728 bytes (128 MB), which is way less than 1GB.
In fact your memory size can’t be 1 GB, as the error is saying another thing.
If you really had 1 GB memory, it will totally be enough for loading your all popups (~300).
Our plugin really doesn’t have problems with handling popup data (inside function) on a site. It’s just the amount of your popups that can’t be loaded by your site memory.
Please, increase your memory size to resolve the issue with the popups.

No, you got it wrong. When I go to Web Host Manager on my server here’s the value for assigned memory:

memory_limit This sets the maximum amount of memory in bytes that a script is allowed to allocate. This helps prevent poorly written scripts for eating up all available memory on a server. Note that to have no memory limit, set this directive to -1.
    1024M

My WordPress memory is set to the same value.

I’ve switched to one of your competitors popup plugins and I haven’t had ONE ISSUE with memory issues. So, I stand by my original assessment. Your plugin does NOT work with my needs. I wish it would have because I paid $15 for a lot of wasted time.

Your support, BTW was great, but it didn’t handle my problem.

    Dear @itstotallymygame,

We can’t tell how other plugins are calculating the data loading process.
This is the first request of our user to have a memory problem with our plugin.
We’re sorry for this situation, but sometimes the memory set in the hosting provider, is not corresponding with reality.
And the error you were getting is the proof of this.
