• Pootle is enabled but I’m only seeing a back-end editor, a clumsy Divi-like block constructor. No live editing on posts or pages is possible.

    Is the free version 95% crippled or am I missing something?

    Hi,

    Here’s a video of what you should be seeing https://vimeo.com/185787894

    In the admin toolbar , you should see two new options after hovering over the + new . Either to create a live page or a live post.

    Let me know if not,

    OK I get it. It doesn’t work with pre-existing pages and there’s a conflict with Divi that hides the top-left icon behind a full-width header.

    #main-header {
    ?    position: relative;
    ?    z-index: 99999;

    Hi,

    Yup that’s right – you’d need to turn existing pages into pagebuilder pages for existing pages to have the page builder functionality

    Tks for the divi heads up

    Fixed the Divi problem with this custom css added in Divi’s CSS editor:

    #pootlepb-modules-wrap{
    	z-index:999999;
    }
