    Hi,
Since February 2020 Google started to show “date and Uploaded by” in search results.
Yoast SEO very helped with Meta robots advanced nosnippet tag to hide it.

But in November 2020 problem is back: for whole page applied nosnippet, but:
    – in SERP not shown meta description
    shown date and uploaded by
Can you advice something to do with it and hide the “date and uploaded by” ?

    Thanks for you excellent plugin)

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble seeing the meta description without date and uploaded by information. Let’s see what’s going on here.

The nosnippet robots meta prevents the search engines from showing a text or video snippet (i.e., a meta description) of this page in the search results, and prevents them from showing a cached copy of this page in their search results listings.

So, that explains why the meta description isn’t appearing for you in the Google Search results.

On the other hand, Google often shows the date in the search results and as such, we have removed the relevant option from Yoast SEO recently as Google ignores any instruction that you set. So, we are now also showing the date in the Yoast SEO snippet preview as well. We are afraid to say that there’s no workaround to prevent showing the date in the search results.

In regards to the uploaded by, Google often shows this in the search results when there are videos and Google pulls the author from the relevant videos. We are afraid to say that the Yoast SEO plugin has no option to turn that off as well.

    Video! You are the best)
I didn’t thought about it as reason for appearing “Uploaded by” again.
Removed video from page. Wait for next crawling

    Thanks a lot
