• Dear Misters & Misses.

After updating to latest stable 1.5.1.2 for all files except:
    – wp.php (modified to show german)
    – locale.php (modified too)

Checked permission to be less restrictive than before: 755 now!

I never used blogger or other tools for this site so this is a brand new installation for all the newly written posts

Here the error from within admin backend:

WordPress database error: [Unknown column 'user_registered' in 'field list']
    INSERT INTO wp_users (user_login, user_pass, user_nickname, user_email, user_ip, user_domain, user_browser, user_registered, user_level, user_idmode, user_firstname, user_lastname, user_nicename, user_url) VALUES ('uch', MD5('abc'), 'uch', '[email protected]', '', '', '', '2005-06-23 20:52:52', '1', 'nickname', '', '', 'uch', 'https://')

    ERROR: Couldna€?t register you!

So I think I’ve tried everything.
Do You have a solution or had the same problem?

I really need some help, because my client shouldn’t post with my account …

Thanks anyway for the great product and the nice community around,
    Ren??

  • Did you run upgrade.php, upgrade-schema.php and upgrade-functions.php (in the wp-admin directory)?

    Thanks,

I never heard or read about upgrade*.php! Is it safe to do that, because I have some customisations on the site ( https://www.aqas.de/ ).

I think it might be a database error, where a column is defect or something.

    Should I run upgrade?

It’s a required part of the upgrade process to ensure database schema and function definitions are upgraded to the required level.

So yes, you should run them:-)

    Ok,

I should try that! Before I had 1.5 beta2 a€“ User reg. didn’t work, so I updated manually.

I will do that today, thanks so far, i’ll be back!
