    Hi guys,

I am starting a new website: https://www.youarearchitect.co.uk which is going to be an online architecture resource. We are incorporating wordpress as our blog page, What i therefore need to do is match the look and feel of our wordpress theme to look like its part of our site. Can any anyone advise if this is easy to do? how do I go about editing my theme?

Sorry I have not used WP before, but I do understnad HTML, CSS etc so it should be fairly easy?

    Thanks again.

  • Well it looks like you’re starting to work on the main site. If that’s the case, why not use a WP theme you like and make the main site look like the WP theme?

There are a few themes out there (‘sandbox’ comes to mind) that offer a core framework and blank slate approach to development. Many of these framework themes use things like Yahoo Grids etc. Awesome stuff.

But, if you’re not into rolling your own, there are many magnificent themes out there that will speak to your design brief.

While I’m at it, if your community resource is going to need job-boards, social networking, regional groups etc, you should look at something like Drupal. WP’s good for blogging.
