NOOB – Trying to Optimize Title tag | Implement Adsense | and use plugins

  • Switching from Blogger to WordPress
    I just signed up for WordPress about a month ago and it looks promising. See, I am coming from Blogger so I know the ups and downs of that program. Some of the the downs are SEO issues, valdidation issues, program issues and so on. I made the switch because WordPress templates seem to validate and not only that, they are a lot more slick and search engine optimized.

    Issues I am having
    With that being said, I seem to be having some issues with the ‘advanced’ usage of WordPress.


    I am a business man and I want the ability to
    -optimize my title tags for seo
    -implement adsense
    -and use plugins.
    However, I have found this to be a difficult task.

    What do I need to do to use the above features?
    I already have a domain purchased at GoDaddy and I would like to know what I need to do to hook that domain to my wordpress blog allowing me to get the above bulleted features. I am willing to fork over more cash if I have to for other things if they are needed. I just want the features. ?? If anybody could just tell me what I need to do that would be great.

    I would recommend you look into WordPress plugins. You can read about them here.

    There is a plugin to help you optimize your SEO called the SEO All in One plugin.

    There is also an Adsense plugin called Adsense Deluxe.

    To set your GoDaddy domain to go to your WordPress blog, you need to either enable domain forwarding, or change the domain name server. The GoDaddy support should be able to help you with this for free. If not, please post here again and we can go over it.
