    Hi all

The template i use is not widget enabled (which is a pain coz i love it) and i dont understand the instuctions to make it widget enabled.

Is there anyway i can edit the sidebar to show recent posts on it?

Thanks, also thanks to Creative girl (i think that was here nickname for helping me with the favicon thing) – i cant find the post to resolve it!! (blush)

  • Pretty much, the recent posts Widget uses the template tag, wp_get_archives(), so try that in your sidebar.php.

Michael, thanks for your help i ended up checking out the template tag area and finding the code to show last 20 posts so much appreciated.

Is there anyway of putting a dash inbetween or seperating the post on seperate lines though as they all just run into each other (cant really explain it but you can see what i mean at https://www.chrissayburn.com)

Thanks again for any help. i hope one day to be able to help others on here

    Hi,

I am having the same trouble Chris is having. I found the code to make the most recent 20 posts show up under my “Archive” title. How do I separate the links so that they’re not all strung together on one line?

Thanks for any help on this matter. I am VERY new to scripts, and I feel very frustrated that I can’t manipulate the code very easily.
