None responsive items in Side Bar. (G Badge & FB Like Box)

Problem:
When the theme re-sizes and the sidebar shrinks, some items like the G+Badge will not shrink. Instead it stays outside the margins creating an award looking page.

Solution Idea 1:
Is it possible to get these items to re-size?

Solution Idea 2:
Is it possible to set a minimum size to the sidebar that will not shrink past the largest objects?

Solution Idea 3:
Any suggestions?
