None deletion of revisions

Every time I attempt optimization of the revision part, the revisions remain archived, although I work on the posts almost daily and all my stuff is being (1) backed up with VaultPress and (2) cloned after every edit- hence I only need the latest version.

Please tell me, how to delete old revisions.
