Nonce question

How can I use the nonce created by jigoshop.class.php, within a form action query string on a page that I created in my Twenty-Twelve child theme? I was able to create a shortcode that generated a nonce by using the code from jigoshop.class.php; however, the nonce wasn’t equivalent to the one created by jigoshop.class.php (I placed the function in jigoshop_functions.php) and the resulting query string wouldn’t populate the cart.
