non www redirect to www

    I am using the Suites theme and if I don’t place the www before my url it doesn’t redirect to the index page but rather goes to an error page.

    I normally don’t have this problem but I can’t see anywhere in this theme to correct it.

    I have www. on both urls in the general settings menu.

    Any suggestions?

    I may be mistaken, but generally things like the “www” prefix concern DNS and configuration in .htaccess/nginx.conf and not so much in themes. But I may be wrong.

    I could not find a “Suites” theme online, can you post a link?

    What kind of error page do you get? 404?
    Is this on a pre-existing site, that was working before, but now the theme is causing trouble? Or is it a brand new, additional site? Just trying to figure out what “normally” means.
