Non-user event creation w/ Gravity Forms

Has anyone figured out how to integrate Gravity Forms w/the All-in-One Event Calendar? Specifically, I’d like to allow for front-end event creation by the public/non-registered user.
Someone, in a different post, mentioned that he was able to accomplish this; but, unfortunately, he did not provide detailed steps and I understand very (very) little about programming.
I did download the Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types plugin, but I’m getting stuck when trying to follow the instructions outlined on Adding User-Submitted Content in Custom Post Types with Gravity Forms
