    Hello,

    I have synced my square items and categories, however if I make a woocommerce (non-synced) item. this item does not appear to pass the category and shows as uncategorized on Square.

    Is this intended behavior and any suggestions?

    I understand when you create a new product on WooCommerce, the category is not syncing, and it is showing as uncategorized in Square, correct?

    If correct, when editing the product, kindly check if, in the?Product categories?section, the uncategorized category of the product is not checked or ranked as the first option (check the image below).

    If it is, kindly uncheck it and change the position of the uncategorized category. You can change it by going to Products > Categories, drag and drop the category using the icon, as shown below:

    Once you do this, try manually syncing the product and check if the issue persists.

    If this is not the case, or the issue persists, kindly enable logging in WooCommerce > Settings > Square. Once you do this, try syncing the product again and then share the square logs you find in WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
