non-subscribers able to upload / no subscribe prompt

  • Fantastic Plugin!! Perfect for a fundraiser that I’m getting ready to re-launch. I’m just now testing your plugin on my staging site before the actual domain is ready.

    I’m able to upload photos without being prompted to subscribe and/or login. I have the setting checked in the WP admin for ‘anyone can register’… I’ve actually tried it both checked and unchecked.

    When I go to the play.php page, I have the upload form. I complete the form and choose a file… when I click ‘save’ the page does not do anything (no redirect or anything), and the photo is entered into the contest.

    My goal is to have it require registration and also allow users to login via facebook (but, that’s a different plugin of course).

    Theme I’m using: Fotofolio Landscape v1.2.2

    FYI… I fixed the “nothing happening after file was uploaded” issue. Added content_wppc class to the div tag on the template page.

    Still fumbling through to figure out the subscription requirement issue.

    I worked on it long enough to find the “Update Settings” page in the admin tool. I can’t believe I didn’t check there first.

    I fixed my issue by selecting ‘subscriber’ for the ROLE_UPLOAD setting.

    Plugin is working great! Again, it’s fantastic… and perfect for what I need. I’d love to donate, but I don’t see any links to do so on your site.
