Non Stop Email Alerts

    After I installed this plugin, I get non stop email alerts saying “Failed Login” at my site.

    I went into the settings to tick “No” for all the boxes except the first box, but the email spam keeps coming. FYI, the wording on that Settings page is a bit confusing.

    In the end, I had to deactivate the plugin, and also deactivate the Stop Bad Bots plugin, because it seems these two work together and needs to be together.

    You need go to:
    Dashboard => Anti Hacker => Settings => Notification Setting (tab)
    and un mark “Alert me all Failed Login Attempts”

    If doesn’t work, something is wrong on your install. Try to remove the plugin (de install) and install again.

    Both plugin works fine together. Which error message you got when you install both together?

    I have not gotten any error messages when installing. I was using Stop Bad Bots for a long time, but now, it seems you have made the Antihacker plugin to be compulsory, or else the Stop Bad Bots plugin will not work any more….

    And yes, the “Alert me all Failed Login Attempts” is set to OFF. That is why I said I am confused.

    The second line says Alert me All Logins
    Yes, All (circle) No, Alert me Only Not White listed (circle)

    I don’t quite understand this, but I checked the “No, Alert me Only Not White listed circle…….

    And the rest I set to NO.

    Only the first one I see it’s blank. And I left it blank.

    But the spam kept coming afterwards.

    So…..can you confirm if the Antihacker plugin is compulsory now or not if I want to use the Stop Bad Bots plugin? It seems like it.
