• Installed it on bosses iPad, tried to connect, error 403, Google search for problem – no JetPack installed.

I got rid of JetPack as it didn’t offer anything I needed which other plugins were already doing, plus it was a bit too resource-hungry for my liking. Whilst JetPack might have some useful APIs for developers, it’s not universally loved by everyone. Every plugin added to a WordPress site asks of resources so it needs to earn its keep. JetPack has no useful functionality for our Woocommerce store so this Woocommerce app makes itself more trouble than it’s worth.

I see you mentioned that you are facing a 403 error while connecting to Jetpack via the WooCommerce Mobile App. Can you please share the below details?

    • Can you please share a screenshot of the error you are seeing on the iPad?
    • Can you please share the URL of your store?

I’m going to look at what @israelb1 suggested as Jetpack is not installed on our site and is not going to be installed again.

    Hey @thedrumdoctor,

    Thanks for getting back!

I’m going to look at what?@israelb1?suggested

Thank you for considering the suggestion made by @israelb1? to use WEManage with WooCommerce. While we appreciate your interest in WEManage, we would like to suggest that you give Jetpack a try, as it is a plugin that seamlessly integrates with WooCommerce and provides you with a range of features that are designed to enhance the performance and security of your website.

The WooCommerce mobile app, which is powered by Jetpack, offers real-time notifications, order management, and inventory management, all from the convenience of your mobile device. With Jetpack installed on your website, you can enjoy all of these features and more.

You can turn the other features of Jetpack off if you do not need them and only use it for the connection to the mobile app.

We understand that you may have concerns about installing Jetpack on your website, but we assure you that Jetpack is a trusted and reliable plugin that has been used by thousands of websites worldwide. We are confident that you will find it to be a valuable addition to your website.

I’ve installed Jetpack in the past on various sites and it didn’t give me anything I really needed. Unfortunately, the Woocommerce app would have to be independent of Jetpack for me to consider using it.

    Hey @thedrumdoctor,

We appreciate your interest in using the WooCommerce mobile app.

We would like to clarify that Jetpack is a required plugin for the WooCommerce mobile app to function properly. Jetpack provides a secure connection to your store, allowing the app to access your store’s data and provide you with the ability to manage your store on the go.

While we understand that Jetpack may not have provided you with the features you were looking for in the past, we assure you that it is necessary for the proper functionality of the WooCommerce mobile app.

If you have any further questions or concerns regarding the use of Jetpack or the WooCommerce mobile app, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are always here to help!
