Hi. I seem to have got in to a problem state. Every single sale on my test site now earns commission for affiliate 1, even though no referal has been made. Something seems to be stuck

I have disabled all other plugins and reverted to 2020 theme but still seeing the problem.

I have disabled and re-enabled WPAM plugin and makes no difference.

I am using private browsing windows with guest users for plain product purchase – no subscriptions.

    WPAM: Version 2.9.30
    WP 6.3.1
    PHP 8.0
    Woo Version 8.1.1

Any advice here would be helpful.

    thanks, Colin

Hi, can you provide step by step instructions on how you have set up the admin in our plugin? I would like to check to see if I can reproduce the same issue as you.

Also, can you enable debug log and then carry out a test. Afterwards can you check the log file and report back with any findings. Make sure no private data is included.

    Kind regards.

@colinfroggatt, Please check if a cookie named “wpam_id” is set in your browser for that site.

If the “Use IP Address for Referral Tracking” option is enabled (Affiliates > Settings > Advanced Settings) and there is a click record from the same IP address within the cookie duration (e.g. 30 days), a commission will also be rewarded.

Hi, thank you for the quick response. Yes, IP tracking was enabled and that was the cause. I disabled this an now it behaves as I would expect.

    thanks. Colin
