Non-Paid and Free membership plugin

  • I am trying to set up a community online that needs a blog (already comes with WP) a gallery, forum, directory and calendar – is there a plug in that is either free, or affordable, to handle all these aspects of an online community? I really don’t want to piece together a bunch of plugin that don’t integrate with the wordpress website software.

    There will be no processing of payments for membership – it is for a struggling community in Puerto Rico.

    Currently have Avada template instaed “Forum” demo with BBpress for the forum, but I need a calendar gallery, and

  • WordPress has a built in gallery feature (see this) and there are plenty of free gallery plugins that add additional functions. I have used a number of them that work well, but it’s difficult to recommend one as your server may be set up different than mine.

    The same is true of calendar plugins.

    AFAIK, there isn’t a single plugin that handles all of these things, nor would it be advisable to build one, as these are all really different functions.
