Non-number field being stripped of backslash

I have several forms for requesting software licenses which contain a couple of list fields. Within the list fields there are columns that expect numerical values (number of licenses) and others that expect text values (server, database and site information).

With the server name, the value can include a backslash. When the user submits an entry with a backslash, it is currently being stripped during the form processing. I have contacted Gravity Forms support and they said that the problem appears to be with the List Field Number Format for Gravity Forms plugin. Is there anything that can be changed to stop this from occurring in non-numeric columns?
