    Hi there,

on your website I read that this plugin works with Autoptimize Cache plugin.

However, I noticed that the non-necessary cookies are not loaded on page reload, which I have set to active on the Plugin General Tab. The non-necessary cookies are only loaded when loading a different page in case the cookies had been accepted.

In Autoptimize I excluded the admin and public js files from caching without any impact. Also in the Async JavaScript-Plugin I excluded this Plugin from being loaded later.

Any ideas how to get this plugin to work on page reload with above mentioned Caching Plugins?

Every help is welcome. Thank you.

    Best,
    Stephan

  • Hi,

I have a very similar problem. I used to have my Google Analytics code inserted to the Head when people accepted the cookies. The page would reload then and the GA would then be created. That worked fine for a couple of weeks.
Now I tried to use the plugin W3 Total Cache, but since that the GA cookies are no longer created after page reload. I also deactivated the caching plugin and purged all caches, but still no success.

Do you have any ideas? Thanks.

    Best

    Hi @steinzeitmami, @mw815371.

Please try whitelisting/excluding the plugin cookies from caching.

    Hi @webtoffee,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I still have the above mentioned problem when I deactivated the cashing plugin and even after I deleted it. Do you have any further advice?

    Best regards,

    Johannes

    Hi @steinzeitmami,

For advanced caching compatibility, you can check out our premium version plugin.

The basic version has limited caching support.

Hm, a really unsatisfying answer. Just pointing to your premium version and not addressing the issue is not helpful.

Just mentioning that the premium version has better caching compatibility and not elaborating why this is the case is not very convincing for me to buy the premium version.

Setting the plugin cookies isn’t the issue, they are set all the time, but even your free plugin should be able to load the tracking code cookie (non-necessary cookies when visitor provided consent) on page reload as it is a build in feature.

    However, thanks for your support.

    All the Best,
    Stephan
