Non-Media File Downloads

  • Hi, I am trying to add non media files for download on my WP site. These would primarily be zipped software install files and .dll patches. I cannot find ideas or resources anywhere as to how to accomplish this. Can anyone help?

  • Dear Richard,

    Wordpress only allows uploads of certain file types. Try installing the plugin WP Extra File Types from the dashboard. Now you can go to settings, Extra file types and select all the types you need.
