Non-functional Plugin That is Only an Advertisement. Shady Marketing Practices.

Nonfunctional plugin. This plugin only purpose is to serve as an advertisement for their premium plugin and doesn’t actually do anything by itself every significant or useful feature is locked away. I don’t think a single positive review on the WP repository is actually reviewing the version on the WP repository.
Likewise, the marketing and pricing for their paid plugins are all highly deceptive. From advertised prices that balloon upon renewal, shady upsells and discount programs that aren’t actually discounts, and a heavily incentivized affiliate program that encourages even more shady and deceptive practices from their affiliate marketing partners.
I would avoid this company and plugin on principle over all these shady marketing shenanigans. As a fellow entrepreneur looking for ways to grow my own business I respect the hustle, but their practices border on unethical.
