Non-flash Picasa slideshow

I’ve been searching for a non-flash solution for embedding my Picasa albums as slideshows into WordPress. I don’t want to show galleries of photos, just a slideshow that can be played and paused.

Anybody have a suggestion? (I’ve installed numerous plugins, but they seem focused on showing galleries.)

Also, I’ve found that this simple code will actually come close to doing the trick:

<iframe src="PICASA SLIDESHOW URL" width="600" height="500" title="Slideshow"></iframe>

…although the control buttons act strangely, and I’m not sure how to prevent autoplay.

Anyway, I’d prefer a no-iframe solution if possible.
