I have 19 locations configured, but only 7 of them have events assigned to them so far. When a user visits the locations list page (here’s the link on my dev site), only the 7 “eventful” locations appear.

However, when I am logged in (as administrator, subscriber, any role), the same page shows all 19 locations. I want all site visitors (even those not logged in) to see all locations, even those with no events attached.

I’ve pored over Events > Settings > Pages and Events > Settings > Formatting for some appropriate setting (“Show Locations with No Events”?) but can’t find anything.

    Help?

  • Which version of Events Manager are you using?

Sorry, should have included that: 5.5.4.

This issue shows only for users not logged into the wordpress backend and has been reported before.

I′m waiting for an update or a bugfix-version too.

This bug has been reported to the Dev team. In the link above, @spartaneity seems to have found a workaround that might help.

just create draft events for your locations

I′ve got some 300+ locations missing, so I′m looking forward to a fix soon…

yikes! as another workaround… while in edit mode you can see the locations… view the page source and copy the code into your wordpress page to use until things are fixed

Same here. This is a bad bug, please fix it soon!

Any words from devs when we can expect a fix? Creating draft events for all locations is not really a feasible option.

    Sorry, no official ETA yet.

Just to let you know, the problem still exists in 5.5.6

Why was this marked as resolved?
The problem still exists in 5.5.6 !

This is really starting to get annoying.. please fix it!

Firstly, I would like to thank you for making this wonderful feature rich plugin which fits most event management requirements perfectly. Hats off to you guys!

I was struggling with the issue of locations without event not appearing in the locations listing page. I was running from pillar to post thinking this was a default functionality and trying to tweak the wordpress permissions with another plugin. But frankly nothing really offered any clean solution to this problem. It was a great relief to know that this was a bug is Event Manager and someone is working on it.

Like MRA_andy I too have around 400+ locations and the workaround solution of creating events, will not work for me. Would really appreciate if the EM team can fix this issue at the earliest as my site can not go live without this fix.

There have been many updates coming for event manager, but this glaring one does not seem to be getting fixed. I am guessing it is because this thread is marked as resolved, so it does not appear in the list of things to be fixed..
Do we need to create a fresh thread for this issue?
