    Hi,
I get this issue Non-canonical pages in XML sitemap, the problem exactly is that the domain name is added in the sitemap without the “/”.
Is there a way to add it manually or do it in another way?

    Hello!

The sitemap is generated automatically and cannot be modified in such a way.

Could you please share a link to the sitemap with the issue?

    Thank you!

Yes, I found a regression with TSF v4.2.0 here. I’ll resolve that in v4.2.2.

I think Google Search Console just notified you about this error via email? The root domain URI has the trailing slash implied (whether it’s explicitly provided or not), so Google is wrong in recognizing this as an issue.

The issue is of no immediate concern, still — in no way should this impede search engines. So, I will wait with v4.2.2 for another week to prevent spamming our users with updates — perhaps something else pops up, which I can address in that update as well.

Thanks for reaching out and reporting the issue!
