Non-Browser Related Image/Media Upload Issue

When trying to link an image to my blog, I get the following error code:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function createAICode() in ******************************/dblog/wp-content/plugins/authimage/authimage.php on line 17

I have tried re-installing including a full blown cleaning of my wordpress blog’s root directory. The problem still comes up every time I try to link an image and I’ve just recently updated to 2.6.2. Is there something corrupt in my database? Is it a known issue? Thanks in advance for serious replies.

P.S. The *’s are just there to obfuscate the Linux directory my blog is in on my server, not a part of the error message.
