If Show Board To setting is set to any other role aside from Everyone or Administrator. Admin role users aren’t able to see the front end of an idea board.
Being able to see the front end is paramount to styling the idea boards through css and creating a user with the set role is only a bandaid which shouldn’t be required.

    Help with this is appreciated.

    Hi @anvilhouse,

The setting you are referring to is not meant to be hierarchical. You are assuming that if it is set to editor that admins should also see it, but that is strictly not how the setting works.

With that said, I can appreciate the use case in such functionality. Therefore in the next update of the plugin there will be a new developer filter so you can extend this setting to multiple roles which will achieve what you want.

This filter is now live in the pro version of the plugin. I don’t have an ETA of when this will be released in the free version. Thanks

Would it be possible to get the dif/changes so that we could apply this manually until the next update?

    Hi @anvilhouse,

No sorry, I don’t have the resources for this unfortunately. Thanks,
