Nominating a related post (instead of auto-generating)

Jake, microkid’s related posts plugin does what you ask for.

I would however recommend you try out an automatic plugin like my Yet Another Related Posts Plugin. Many people have had good experiences with it and as you grow your blog, it may be much easier to maintain this way.

I don’t actually want an automatic plugin, because each post that I create within my blog has at most one other post that will be related to it.
