Noindex subpages of archives for affiliate review site?

  • Hello,

    Quick question here. I run a review website where I review fitness products. My money is made when people search for a product and find my review. A lot of the time people will search for older products which are listed on page 3 or 4.

    So if I click the Noindex subpages of archives option does that mean none of my old reviews which are on pages 3,4 and so will appear in Google? or does this just mean the actually URL website.com/page/2 and etc won’t show up, but my posts will still be indexed?

    I would hate to not have all my old post and reviews not show up.
