noindex rss feed?

What reason would you have for this? Search engines don’t index an RSS feed, they just crawl the links on the feed. Google recommends using an RSS or Atom feed to help them crawl your content.

thanks – they index the feed on my site. Lots of people want to do it and other SEO plugins provide this.

Can you provide the URL for your site as I’ve never seen Google index an RSS feed.

We’ll add this in a future release.

feedburner has an option to add ‘noindex’ – I assume that is there as otherwise it will get indexed:

and the ‘other’ major SEO plugin has this as an option too
