    Hello,

    I am new to TSF and I am having an issue.

    When I try to noindex the entrire site from:
    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=theseoframework-settings

    I get the correct code

    <!-- Start The SEO Framework by Sybre Waaijer -->
    <meta name="robots" content="noindex" />

    and also the noydir works fine.

    But when i try to noindex any single archive (like the tags, for example) from either the settings panel or the specific topic-tag page the metatag doesn’t appear.

    Also the “Apply noindex to every second or later archive page?” does not seem to work.

    Thank you for any advice,

    the Process

    Hi @process_of_illumination,

    The set noindex/nofollow/noarchive for “all” categories and tags only works for WordPress’ builtin Categories and Tags. All others aren’t affected, and this usage is often requested and it’s being worked on.

    In any case, I see your assimilations are correct.
    The reason you’re experiencing these issues is that bbPress doesn’t tell WordPress its tag pages are archival.

    I’ve opened an issue here and I’ll escalate it further with bbPress in the near future:
    https://github.com/sybrew/the-seo-framework/issues/243

    Unfortunately, within TSF there’s nothing I can do without likely causing mayhem to bbPress sites. So, we must wait for bbPress to fix this.
