I received a notification from Google Search Console that some URL’s on my website are marked as noindex. The indicated pages are the Woocommerce ‘my account’, ‘checkout’ and ‘shopping cart’ pages.

Although I’m not sure if there is any benefit of having these pages indexed anyway, I would like to get rid of these error messages so decided to check the index status in Yoast.

However, when viewing the properties of these pages in Edit ? Advanced, I see that all these pages are already set to be indexed (Allow search engines to show this page in search results ? Yes (default standard for Pages).

    https://stropellets.be/nl/checkout-nl/
    https://stropellets.be/nl/winkelmand-nl/

When performing a URL-inspection in Google Search Console, I see that indexing is not allowed because a ‘noindex’ has been detected in meta tag ‘robots’. Where/how can I change this metatag ‘robots’?

I’m not sure if it’s related, but in ‘SEO ? Extra – Yoast SEO ? Tools’ I see that currently no robots.txt file exists on my website. Should I create one, and what should be the recommended content in that case?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
