    Hi!

    For our website beautyjournaal.nl we use Yoast SEO, but since 16 september we are experiencing some noindex issues with the plugin and that caused a huge drop (4K visitors a day), in our Organic traffic.

    Our problem:
    We migrated a website- source between repositories. Since 16 september our website had a “noindex, follow” value in the robots meta-tag. We configured the Yoast SEO plugin to make our pages indexable, but for some reason we cannot change the “noindex, follow” by using the plugin.

    For now we created a by-pass on the robots meta-tag to ensure that the website can be indexed. But we are experiencing a huge loss in visitors due to this earlier issue.

    Are there any other developers or webmasters experiencing this currently “noindex, follow” issue?

    Greetings!

    We checked on your page and see the robots tag output from the Yoast SEO plugin in the following section of the source code, which is currently set to index, follow:

    <!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v8.2 - https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/ -->
    <meta name="description" content="&nbsp; BeautyJournaal is sinds 2009 uitgegroeid tot een Wikipedia voor beautyvragen. Het enige nieuwsplatform dat jou in de breedste zin van het woord"/>
    <meta name="robots" content="index, follow"/>
    <link rel="canonical" href="https://www.beautyjournaal.nl" />

    Are the pages that you are seeing the noindex tag on other than the homepage? If so, can you please provide an example URL?
