    I am having issues with the nofollow attribute in the plugin.

    Although I have marked YES under the <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Advanced </span>tab to make all search engines follow internal links in this post (there are 2), I keep seeing the message “all outbound links are nofollow…add normal links”.

    Why this is happening? How can I fix that in all of my blog posts? I am using Elementor to edit posts (see a <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>screenshot </span>of the link Settings https://imgur.com/53PX1df).

    The only option available is “Open link in a new tab”.

    Thank you for any help.

    Hello @douglasivanauskas

    Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. I understand for 4 Técnicas de Cinema Que Os Filmes de Indiana Jones Nos Ensinou, you have chosen YES for the option, Should search engines follow links on this Post. That setting works as expected; see the robots meta tag with the follow directive:

    <meta name='robots' content='index, follow, max-image-preview:large, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1' />

    I keep seeing the message “all outbound links are nofollow…add normal links”.

    Please share the screenshot of this message you keep receiving.

    Hi @maybellyne, thanks for the reply.

    Here’s the screenshot: https://imgur.com/G2KflRA

    Translating the message in the screenshot from Portuguese: “Outbound links: all outbound links in this page are nofollow. Add some normal links.”

    Could it be some theme discrepancy/issue? Or something else?

    Thanks again.

    Hello Douglas,

    Thanks for the helpful screenshot. The Yoast SEO plugin has the feature to set/unset the nofollow attribute on each link in a post. You can learn more here.

    However, you mentioned using the Elementor page builder, so you won’t be able to use that feature. An alternative is to open the post/page in the default WordPress editor to remove the nofollow attribute.

    @maybellyne, thank you very much for the clarification.
