I’m curious to know if it’s possible to add “nofollow” meta only to external links on a certain page. I’m running a forum and I’d like internal links to articles on my own website to be followed by search engines, but not external links (which may lead to low-quality site and/or encourage spammers to post their links there).

    Can this be done?

    Hi @veganostomy,

This is possible, but that should be handled within the forum software right on the “comment publish” action. I believe most of this is handled within bbPress automatically.

Whether it’s perceptive about internal or external links, then this might will require a semantically approach.

But, this is about content. The SEO Framework doesn’t alter content.

I believe you should look for a dedicated solution, or ask a developer to implement this for you.

    Best of luck!

    That’s the perfect answer, Sybre.

    Thank you!
