NoFollow Link Complaint, scam?

Hi. I received the following comment. I do not know anything about nofollow links etc. I suspect someone is either trolling me, or some plugin or update has caused the following. I have no idea how to look into this.

Hi,

You website has 521 no – follow links created to my site in last 5 days or so. The number of links keep increasing every day by almost 100. The links are to my article https:// xxxx s/. While one or two links are OK, it seems there is some error, because of which these many links are getting created. Kindly correct it.

If this is a legitimate query, can someone please let me know how to go look for or fix whatever it is this person claims is coming from my site?
