Nocaptcha shortcode not showing up in contact form 7 form editor

Tried now on two different sites using different themes – same thing on both: comments work fine, but no shortcode for nocaptcha in form generator.

Did I miss a setup step or something?

Do you mean to say No Captcha reCaptcha is not available in the short code drop down ?
Can you provide link to your contact page.

I was having the same problem, but didn’t realize the noCaptcha code was in the “Generate Code” drop down of the form. It’s working now.

I think it would be good to put that instruction on the plugin settings page. Thanks!

Yes that’s exactly what I’m saying. When I click “Generate Code”, the NoCaptcha option is not there.

Note I manually added the shortcode since it’s not available in the shortcode builder, and yet it’s not being replecaed by the noCaptcha plugin.

We where not able to get any issue that would lead to this.
I feel that you have installed
No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA version 1.0.1
which is a different plugin and there is no No Captcha reCaptcha CF7 tag in that.
Please install Google No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA by WisdmLabs version 1.1.1.
If your problem still exist then it can be due to some conflicting plugin.Kindly provide us a list of active plugin in your site so we can replicate the same in our test site and track the issue.

You’re right – That was it! Apologies for my confusion.

That said, your plugin doesn’t add catpcha to comment forms and it conflicts with the “No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA version 1.0.1” plugin, which does add the captcha to comment forms, login form etc.

Can you recommend a plugin that’s compatible with yours to use on comment / login forms?
