I love this plugin and can’t get others to work as well. But why is there no image zoom option? at the very least you should be able to “view image” so you can zoom in with the browser. please include this feature.

  • If you want the browser to control the image display, right-click on the thumbnail and choose “open link in new tab”.

If you just want the lightbox to display images full size, you can turn off scaling in the plugin settings.

In most tests the browser won’t give any option for opening link with right click. I have been able to get the option in a couple cases but the new tab comes up as “about:blank#blocked” I don’t believe i have any anti-saving or copyright features enabled. there should simply be a “view original image” button or something. also disabling scaling is a bad idea when you have a lot of very large images. thanks

Right click on the thumbnail, not the lightboxed image. The thumbnail is always linked to the full size image and all browsers support opening links in a new tab.

You can also enable the option to “Show download link” in the plugin settings. This will add a text link to access the full size image from the lightbox.

If you need more display options in the lightbox itself you will need another plugin. This one is intentionally bare bones.
