    Hi,

I’ve been using Complianz (free version) for quite some time and am overall very happy with it. But I noticed that for embedded YouTube Videos, it doesn’t show the consent banner before loading the video. The video will just play when I click on it I have this enabled under Integrations though.

I’m working with Elementor, but I also just did a quick test on a blank page with the old simple editor and the embed code iframe provided by YouTube itself, and it still doesn’t know the consent banner. So I don’t think it’s an issue with Elementor.

Probably there is a wrong setting somewhere still, but in the documentation I only found this page https://complianz.io/youtube-and-the-gdpr-how-to-embed-youtube-on-your-site/, which doesn’t give a step-by-step guide. I also searched this forum quickly, and couldn’t find a topic with a similar problem.

Thanks in advance for your help!

@irismoebius I just visited your website, and can see the YouTube placeholder as expected, with a banner. Did you try in an anonymous/private browser? Please also check if you don’t have any adblockers or other tools enabled in the browser that might stop Complianz from working.

Please also try using a different browser to check this.

Huh, you’re right. In incognito I see the banner, too. Maybe it didn’t show up because I had accepted cookies ages ago when going on my own website, and this was obviously saved…

Thanks for the quick reply and consider this solved! ??
