No XML sitemap ping to BING!

WordPress SEO Yoast states to ping XML sitemaps to both Google and BING automatically.
However, although I see frequent XML sitemap updates to Google, there seems to be no upload to BING.
Manual upload of the XML sitemap to BING works fine.What could be the problem?
