No XML feed link in header

  • Hi Justin,

    I noticed there is no XML feed advertised in the head of Hybrid. For instance, Is My Blog Working reports for my site “Your blog doesn’t advertise an XML feed. Are you sure it’s a blog?” … See https://ismyblogworking.com/downloads.free-jazz.net

    Normally, there is something like
    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS Feed" href="https://free-jazz.net/feed/" /> or similar to advertise RSS/Atom feeds in the head.

    I upgraded to Hybrid 0.7.1 but still the same. Is it a conscious choice not to do so in Hybrid? If so, why?

    UPDATE: I added the links manually via an add_action( ‘hybrid_head’ , ‘…’ ) call in the child theme’s functions.php template.

    That leaves the question why these links are omitted in the theme framework ??
