I think this plugin was long over-due and I’m grateful that you pulled it together. The execution is programmatically flawless.

However I am having a just a bit of difficulty.
My Title and H1, H2 Font for my theme is the Google Web font Yanone Kaffeesatz. For some reason it is not previewing in Google Font Manager nor is it making it’s presence felt visibly (WYSIWYG) in TinyMCE.

I’m using TinyMCE Advanced plugin but it really doesn’t appear to matter whether I have it Active or Deactivated that one font doesn’t display and now none of my fonts display proportionately the right size within TinyMCE.

Web font Yanone Kaffeesatz appears fine on the site title, tagline, and post headline but I’m having all kinds of trouble using it for anything else. https://ecopsi.org/

    My theme is Montezuma

Suggestions if you please and let me know if you would like access to examine my WordPress configuration.

Do all the other fonts seem to work? Is it just “Yanone Kaffeesatz”? I know that some fonts with Google are anomalous like Open Sans acts strange in some circumstances. Did you try deactivating other plugin and changing the theme to 2014 (just temporarily) to see if that helps to isolate the issue? Let me know….

BTW, thanks for the kind remarks! I’m glad you like it ??

Why that is what seems bizarre. The “Yanone Kaffeesatz” appears the only font that has the problem. Of course it’s the only one that I’m dependant on wouldn’t you know?

Most disagreeable since as I said I’m very much pleased the operation of the application as compared to others I’ve tried. There are other similar plugins which seem functional but lack the technical refinement of your plugin’s design from the viewpoint of the User not the Programmer.

Again, the “Yanone Kaffeesatz” font is the only one that doesn’t appear in preview.

I’ve tried reinstalling several times. I’ve also tried turning off other plugins in order to see if other plugins are affecting it’s preview in some peculiar way that isn’t obvious.

“Yanone Kaffeesatz” is the primary H1 and H2 that the theme uses and I want to maintain continuity of the site’s presentation by using that font elsewhere in my post and pages.

Thomas I’ve just re-activated your plugin again and got this message.

In order to make use of this plugin, you are going to need a Google API Key. Click on the settings icon on the top toolbar to get and enter your Google API credentials.

This is the result after I’ve inserted the API Key

    It gives no error message.

It’s simply fails to acknowledge the API Key

I could create an administrative account for you to look directly at the settings and I can also supply the Key as well.

    (@auriel)

I’ve created a new API Key and tried that and it still doesn’t work.

I switched to Twenty Fourteen theme and the same thing happens Thomas.

While I had Twenty Fourteen theme activated, I deactivated all plugins that use Google and Google Font Manager still won’t recognize the Google API.

Try deleting any cookies associated with your site, re-login and try the API key entry again. If you would like, you could give me access to look deeper into the problem.. I should have some time this weekend to dig into that. You’ve really got my curiosity peaked ??

Friend me on Facebook and we can get this resolved more quickly through messaging: https://www.facebook.com/Thomas.S.Butler.

You account as an admin has been created at https://ecopsi.org
You user id and temporary password as in your Facebook “Other folder”
Please change the email used to create your new account.
Look forward to working with you.

Thanks. I should have some time to dig in tomorrow. BTW, nice site! I’ll let you know what I find ??

Thanks for pointing out this bug Auriel! It was due to the use of SSL. Fonts were being blocked by the “same origin policy”.
